Principal Technical Expertise: Grading, Street, Sewer,
Water, and Storm Drain Design. Computer aided design and software development. Professional Experience: Responsible for the management of information services and computer aided design. Twenty years of design engineering and drafting experience, including over fifteen years of work in civil engineering. Fourteen years of computer aided design experience including development of company standards, procedures and specialized software for the generation of design drawings. Five years design and drafting experience in nuclear and fossil fuel power plants. Key Projects: Encinitas Ranch – Portion of Encinitas Ranch Specific Plan area including Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, Leucadia Boulevard, Quail Gardens Drive, Paseo de Las Flores and over 300 residential units. Included over 1.5 million cubic yards of grading, partial golf course design, drainage design, AutoCAD drawing conversions, irrigation plans, habitat preservation, riparian mitigation, 4 miles of streets, 2 miles of storm drain, and 1 mile of sewer. Also included the 10-acre Paul Ecke Ranch Research Park on Saxony Road, the school and community use areas adjacent to Quail Gardens Drive and the sports park in Green Valley adjacent to Cambria Road. Responsibilities included design and drafting of drainage facilities, preparation of hydrology and hydraulic analysis. City of Palos Verdes Estates – Several storm drain system upgrades for the city. Varying sizes of pipes were used totaling approx. 8000 linear feet. One system required that a pipe be drilled down an unstable bluff to an ocean outlet. Responsibilities included design and drafting of drainage facilities, preparation of hydrology and hydraulic analysis. Pacific Vista – Approximately 250,000 square foot, 20-acre commercial development in the City of Lake Forest for Trammel Crow Company. Included coordination with the Federal Aviation Authority, the City of Lake Forest, the Los Alisos Water District and other consultants. Responsibilities included design and drafting of drainage facilities, preparation of hydrology and hydraulic analysis. Twin Oaks Valley Ranch – Twin Oaks Valley Ranch Golf Course and 293 Single Family homes in the City of San Marcos. Included cost estimates and coordinating three-phase construction of approximately 3.5 miles of Twin Oaks Valley Road reconstruction. Also included Riparian Mitigation, 3 million cubic yards of grading, partial relocation of 36” Vista Irrigation flume, over 5 miles of public streets, and legal descriptions and sketches used for right of way dedication and grading and drainage easements. Responsibilities included design and drafting of drainage facilities, preparation of hydrology and hydraulic analysis. Tustin Ranch – An Assessment District in the Cities of Tustin and Orange, CA. Included over 10 miles of arterial highways designed per Caltrans design criteria and the cities standards. Also included over 3 million cubic yards of grading, 4 miles of RCP storm drain, relocation of water facilities along Municipal Water District of Orange County’s 84” and 54” waterlines and Irvine Ranch Water District’s 54” waterline. Included relocation of approximately 2000’ of 21” and 24” waterlines for East Orange County Water District. Responsibilities included design and drafting of drainage facilities, preparation of hydrology and hydraulic analysis. San Onofre Nuclear Generating Stations – A
2200-megawatt nuclear power plant. Responsibilities included preparing
field-engineering plans, on-site inspection of pipe supports in radiological
