Mayers & Associates Civil Engineering, Inc. is a company providing planning, engineering, and surveying services in the Southern California area. The firms President, Dru J. Mayers, founded the company in 1999. His associates are Martin Miller, and Gary Martin. The principals of the firm have over 75 years of experience in civil engineering in Southern California. Mayers & Associates has a staff of 45 at the present time, which includes the principals. The company operates on the assumption that newer, more advanced engineering solutions will be needed in order for our clients to be successful in a highly competitive economic environment. To this end Mayers & Associates is dedicated to keeping our clients costs low while providing the latest and most innovative engineering solutions. Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality, state of the art planning, civil engineering, and surveying to provide an edge over their competition and help the builders and developers of today grow into the industry leaders of tomorrow. The firm provides a full range of services to home builders and developers of residential, commercial, industrial, recreational, and educational property in the Southern California area. We assist our clients in determining the costs associated with a proposed development by preparing feasibility studies to aid them in making informed decisions. We recognize the importance of land planning in the cost of a development and are dedicated to providing cost effective planning solutions. We prepare and process all documents required for the entitlement of the project. After the entitlements have been obtained, we will produce final engineering construction plans including, Mass, Rough, and Precise Grading, Storm Drain plans, Street Improvement plans, and Final Tract/Parcel Maps. We also provide plan checking and design services for public agencies. Mayers & Associates contracts with an agency to provide plan check services on a range of community development projects including residential, commercial, industrial, recreational, and educational property. Mayers & Associates also provides lead design services for capital improvement projects including, street, sewer, water, reclaimed water, striping, traffic control, traffic signal, landscape, irrigation, and dry utility coordination. Our office is located near the intersection of Bake Parkway and Irvine Boulevard/Trabuco Road in the City of Lake Forest, CA. This provides easy access to Interstates 5 (San Diego Freeway) and 405 as well as SR 241 (Foothill Transportation Corridor) for quick access to the Inland Empire. The office encompasses over 3000 square feet and our company utilizes state of the art computer technology in both the design and production of documents and construction drawings. The firm also utilizes in-house developed computer software as well as several “off the shelf” civil engineering design packages. Mayers & Associates Civil Engineering, Inc. understands that a strong organized approach is essential in providing an efficient, cost effective response to the requirements of any development.
